Wellington Pride with Shannon Novak
Precinct are proud to be working with local LGBTQI+ artist, curator, and activist Shannon Novak, to celebrate, and show support for the LGBTQI+ community during Pride 2022 and beyond.
Wellington Pride runs from 03 - 17 September 2022 and is a big one for the LGBTQI+ community. This year we celebrate 50 years since the start of the Gay Liberation movement in Aotearoa in 1972, a movement led by lesbian and Māori rights activist Ngahuia Te Awekotuku.
In collaboration with local LGBTQI+ artist, curator, and activist Shannon Novak, Precinct Properties acknowledge, celebrate, and show support for the LGBTQI+ community during Pride 2022 and beyond.
As an extension of the work Shannon developed in our Auckland portfolio, there will be bright, bold and colourful interventions in our lobbies in our Wellington portfolio. These will be in NTT Tower, Aon Centre and at 30 Waring Taylor St.
We will be keeping these up for the next month, so please make sure you check them out when you're in the buildings.
