My internship at Precinct was an incredibly valuable experience. I was part of the Development team, where I had the opportunity to visit a range of project sites and see first-hand how developments progress from planning through to construction. Being able to get out on site gave me a much better understanding of the development process and how projects come together.

I also had the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the business, which gave me a broader understanding of the commercial property industry. Everyone was welcoming, supportive and always willing to share their knowledge, making it a great environment to learn.

The experience strengthened both my practical understanding of the industry and my confidence and reinforced my interest in pursuing a career in property.

My summer internship at Precinct was one of the most rewarding experiences of my university journey and provided a valuable introduction to the property industry. Working within the Leasing and Property team, I was trusted with meaningful projects, including preparing a tenant proposal and contributing to research for future developments, which allowed me to apply my studies in a practical setting.

What stood out most was Precinct’s commitment to shaping thriving, sustainable urban environments and the opportunity to gain insight into the collaboration across leasing, development, investment and property management. I also felt genuinely welcomed and supported throughout the programme, both professionally and socially.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Precinct internship to any student seeking a hands-on, meaningful and inspiring introduction to the property industry.
