638-bed PBSA development commences at 256 Queen Street
Precinct is proud to announce the commencement of our 638-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development at 256 Queen Street, Auckland - a major milestone in our strategy to deliver world-class living experiences.
This $201 million development is part of our broader $3.7 billion development pipeline and builds on the momentum of our recent strategic PBSA partnership at 22 Stanley Street. Together, these projects bring our committed student accommodation pipeline to 1,602 beds - a significant step toward meeting the growing demand for high-quality student housing in Tāmaki Makaurau.
The 256 Queen Street PBSA project is targeting a 5 star Green Star ‘NZ Excellence’ rating and is located near the University and midtown amenities and will be completed for the 2029 academic year.
