30 Waring Taylor takes out two Property Industry Awards

16 August 2022

The Precinct team celebrated at the Property Council New Zealand Property Industry Awards on Friday.

We're delighted to have won two awards with Generator Waring Taylor Wellington taking out the Heritage and Adaptive Reuses Property Award, as well as the Commercial Office Property Award.

The reuse and repurposing of the existing building was one of the main focuses of the design of 30 Waring Taylor, which has definitely set a new standard of office in the Wellington market.

Known as the Dunbar Sloane building in a previous life, a lot of effort has been taken to retain the rich 1920's character and electric charm of the building, whilst injecting the latest design features to support modern ways of working. The redevelopment brings 30 Waring Taylor up to 100% of NBS, including the construction of new concrete sheer walls, new piled foundations and structural steel diaphragm strengthening.

Congratulations to the wider project team, we couldn't have done it without your expertise and support. Generator New Zealand, LT McGuinness Ltd., WARREN AND MAHONEY, Dunning Thornton Consultants, E-Cubed, Rider Levett Bucknall, RCP.

Well done to all other nominees and award winners on the night, so many incredible projects.
